Ken McGehee's Three Bean Chili

Ingredients:

1 to 2 lbs Ground Turkey (or none at all if you like)

2 – 15oz Cans Petite-diced Tomatoes

1 – 15ox Can Red Kidney Beans

1 – 15oz Can Pinto Beans

1 – 15oz Can Black Beans

1 – 12oz Beer (of your choice, I like a dark or amber beer)

2 – Cups Chopped Onions

2 – Cups Chopped Green Peppers

4 – Tbsp Chili Powder

2 – Tbsp Cumin

1 – Tbsp Oregano

1 – Tbsp Minced Garlic

1 – Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 – tsp Salt

1 – tsp Black Pepper

1 – tsp Sugar

Cayenne Pepper or Hot Sauce to taste

Directions:

In a large skillet, thoroughly cook/brown ground turkey and crumble.

While turkey is cooking—in  a separate 5-6 quart pot, combine all of the remaining ingredients. After turkey is cooked and crumbled, add to pot with the other ingredients. Stir, bring to boil, lower heat to low, cover and simmer 2 ½ to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

This is also a great recipe for a slow cooker.
