Korean Barbecued Beef and Rib in a Lettuce Wrap

Recipe for Bulgogi and Galbi

Ingredients:

1) LA Galbi

0.4 lb Korean style beef short ribs

5 spoons soy sauce

3 spoons corn syrup

1 spoon sesame oil

1/2 onion

1/2 spoon crushed garlic

1 chopped green pepper

salt, pepper

mushroom

2) Beef Bulgogi

0.4 lb thin sliced beef

5 spoons soy sauce

3 spoons corn syrup

1 spoon sesame oil

1/2 onion

1/2 spoon crushed garlic

1 chopped green pepper

salt, pepper

mushroom

3) Sides

red leaf lettuce

rice

kimchi

ssamjang

 

Recipe:

1) LA Galbi

– Put ribs in water for 30 minutes to remove remained blood

– While removing blood, mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl

– Marinate the ribs in the mixed seasoning

– Put it in refrigerator for 3 hours

– Broil the ribs on a fan or a grill

2) Bulgogi

– Marinate sliced beef in the mixed seasoning (same with the seasoning for LA Galbi)

– Put it in refrigerator for 3 hours

– Broil the beef on a fan or a grill
